I am looking to buy one of these 2 cameras and am having trouble decide between them. I've read the dpreviews, and other than the Panasonic coming near the rechargeable battery and wider lens... I'm not sure of the advantages of one vs. the other? If you hold used either or both I would love to hear your view. Thanks.
16:9 ration surrounded by pixels?
hi, i have a movie that i want to upload to my website. Since the website is slightly narrow, i can solely fit a movie that is roughly speaking 300 pixels wide. Now my request for information would be, what about the hight? how can i breed it so that it maintains its 16:9 pixel ratio? appreciation

35mm camera?
I'm going to be taking photography next year and I will obligation a 35mm camera. My spending limit is $200 and I don't want an antiquated style piece of sh*t. I have looked at the Cannon Rebel and be going to get that except none of the stores enjoy it anymore and I believe it isn't being made any more. I DO NOT WANT AN OLD OR USED CAMERA. I be thinking maybe a cannon or kodak? I really don't know though. If you own an idea though, can you grant a store (major stores only p&t) where on earth I can buy one?

450D flash flickers?
I recently bought a Canon 450D DSLR camera. but... when i use auto-focus (half press shutter button) it focueses and later the built-in flash just flickers on and past its sell-by date until i take the photo. and it doesnt flicker within time its just arbitrary. so its not on>off>on>off every millisecond or something its in recent times random is it supposed to do this? im thinking it may be to backing it focus. any help much appreciated. THANKS!
7.2MP camera will produce a better figure than 3.0MP, right?
My friend is arguing with me that a 3.0MP camera take just as well-mannered as pictures as a 7.2MP camera... He says it's adjectives about shutter speed. I know what shutter speed is, and I know that the faster the better, but MP's DO event, right? Please inform us! Thanks!

A digital camera beside honest video playback?
I'm not looking for those pro video recorders and stuff. I'm simply after a digi cam that history nice videos. Of course, i'm not asking for it to be extremely appropriate quality, if that's the skin then I'd invest surrounded by a camcorder or something. But right now, I enjoy a digi cam and the video playback is horrible once it gets onto the computer. Does anyone own any recommendations for digi cams beside reasonable video playback competence? :)

I'm looking to spend a good bit of money on a camera ($700+) I call for it to be digital, with well-mannered shutter speed, and picture quality. About Panasonic DMC FZ-18 Digital Camera?
Dear all I am Pushkar joshi from Pune. Recently I bought Panasonic Lumix DMC Fz-18 digital Camera next to 8 MP resolution. Photos taken by the cameras Intelligent auto mode , Program mode are of only 72 ppi. Previously I be using Canon Powershot A410 digital camera. When Checked exif ,Canon Powershot A410 record descriptions to 180 ppi.So My Qustion is why even the camera is of 8 Mp and advanced options transcription photos at low ppi than canon Powershot A410 . As a result I am not entirely satisfied by its rite.To get 300 ppi resolution I must nick photos in RAW Mode that is little tadious opportunity each time. So how to history imagses at 300 ppi in program mode,Intelligent auto mode The review of Panasonic DMC FZ-18 be publieshed in smart photography magzine (Dec 2007). My second qusetion is the photos by the camera look little darkish even clicked within perfect buoyant condations. And the camera gives the similes overexopsed in illuminaed areas and underexposed contained by dark areas. Almost every photo encounteres same problem , I want solution of this problem. And please suggest the tricks while using This (Panasonic DMC FZ-18) to increase the images and to overcome this problem. I am attaching token Images to show the problem And for the 72 ppi exif. Im looking into buying a new digital camera. I want a devout one that takes clear pictures but i want it to be quite simple to use because im not amazing next to technology. The one must-have feature the camera HAS TO own is that when i put the pictures onto bebo i wont have to re-size them. I realise i may enjoy to get a slightly lower mega-pixal for this but i dont mind. My current camera have 6.1 and you dont need to re-size so can i stir much higher than this? Ok so friday night I be camping out surrounded by a tent and when i woke up my phone (slvr) and camera (canon SD750 ELPH) were lay on a soaked blanket and i've been letting them dry out. the phone started to work this morning but soon after it started to flicker on and sour again. i didn't realize that my camera and phone were raining until after i had tried turning them both on!! :[ so i imediatly took out my battery and memory card and layed it on a vent and now i hold it in a closure lock bag beside a silica gel packet (however you spell it). is there any hope?? please give a hand my parents are going to KILL me!!
