Camera Bits has posted an upgrade to Photo Mechanic 4.4.2
The latest version of its pro photo browser modifies the crop tool to darken the area outside the crop, adds an option to erase a card after Ingest, improves the Code Replacement function and fixes RAW file captioning problems involving recipes in Canon's Digital Photo Professional as well as the Camera Raw plug-in within Photoshop. Navigator-related crashing in the Windows version has also been addressed.
The new version also adds support for Lexar's Active Memory technology (which suggests that Lexar may finally be preparing to ship memory cards with Active Memory built-in).
Photo Mechanic 4.4.2 is available for download from the Camera Bits web site.
